This class is all about learning to shape and form different metals. You’ll learn how to use dapping tools, hammers and punches to make 3 dimensional metal hearts, stars, and flowers. You’ll only be limited by your imagination! After forming your pieces you will learn to solder, torch, and stamp them, to give them texture and design. You’ll learn about the different tools available and different hammers and what they do. You’ll gain knowledge of different types of metal, the gauges to use for different projects and where to buy your supplies. You’ll also learn to make and attach your own jump rings. You’ll finish your favorite piece by adding this fabulously big antiqued ball chain. The pieces shown here were made by students in the last class.

As always, all supplies are included and your class fee includes lunch, snacks, beverages, and of course the Candy Cart in its “Covid friendly” form.

You will be safely distanced in my “outdoor studio” where every safety detail has been looked after. I’ve got you.
