I’ve been wanting to do a stocking class for years. But I didn’t want to do the traditional stocking that you could buy somewhere. For years I’ve been hoarding these vintage wool blankets that I knew I wanted to incorporate into Christmas creations. And here it is! And I’m in love!

In this class you will have several blankets to choose from. You will choose your blanket and cut your stocking from the template provided. Now here’s the amazing part, you will then choose from my stash of Vintage lace (yes, I’m pulling out the good stuff) for your layers of lace and snippets. I will provide some organization and suggestions for you in order to avoid chaos lol. You will layer and tac down your snippets and trims and begin stitching. You will stitch with embroidery floss and pearle cottons in your choices from hundreds of skeins. I will also have a little stack of vintage and floral fabrics that you may want to add a little piece of. There will be some silk ribbon if you’d like to add a few flowers, and there will be a little bling if you’d like to add a sparkle or two. Mother of pearl buttons and maybe a surprise embellishment. We will begin blanket stitching the stocking together by 2 pm so that you can leave with a stocking that is ready to go and you can continue to stitch at your leisure, when time permits. (Mine is not completed yet either. That’s why there’s no photo of it hanging up. Things would fall off!) This is going to be so much fun!

As always, snacks, lunch, drinks and of course the Candy Cart in it’s Christmas glory, are all included!

This class will be offered on Thursday, December 7th, 10am-4pm and the cost is $150.00.

Refunds will be given up to 30 days before scheduled class. After 30 days, if I can fill the spot the fee will be transferred to another upcoming class. If the spot remains empty no refund will be given. If I need to cancel a class for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
