What is it with flowers? A few years ago I had an idea rolling around in my head. A class that is all about flowers. Paper flowers, flowers of lace, flowers of ribbons, shrink art flowers, I wanted to include it all. So I bought all the tools and special papers to learn to make paper flowers. They are so expensive to buy, I thought surely, I can make these myself! Well, my first attempt was a big fail. So I put it away for months. Eventually I got it all back out. I spent days figuring it out. The right paper. The right amount of water. The right inks. The right paints. And did I figure it out! I became obsessed. Flowers all day every day! And now I want to share it with you. In this class you learn all the basics of paper flowers, the papers to use, and how to form them using the right tools and techniques. You’ll learn to cut them with the die cutters, ink and color them, and how to finish the middles to give extra detail. You’ll learn about wire ribbon and lace flowers, and then flowers out of shrink art. You’ll learn to cut and paint the shrink plastics with markers and inks and you’ll learn how to heat and form them. And new for the first time, coloured shrink plastic! I’m so excited to play with this!! You’ll finish enough flower beads to make a sweet bracelet. You’ll also leave with your own set of flower making tools and extra paper to create more flowers at home!

This class is offered on Friday, March 3, from 10am to 4pm. Class fee is $140.00 and includes all supplies and tools, including tools you will keep, snacks, lunch, drinks and the Candy Cart!

Refunds will be given up to 30 days before scheduled class. After 30 days, if I can fill the spot the fee will be transferred to another upcoming class. If the spot remains empty no refund will be given. If I need to cancel a class for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
